Overview of Course
This course is designed for students to better understand how to utilize social media for personal and professional goals, through the lens of goal setting, strategy and tactics. This course will provide students with real world applications as they venture across different countries on the voyage, learning cultural differences in the application and use of social media. By understanding how social media is used in different context in each country that we visit, students will also learn how to create engaging content. Additionally, they will learn how to collect, analyze and report on social media using digital analytics in order to make informed decisions. These informed decisions will be beneficial especially for students that are interested in careers in social media strategy, content creation, advertising and public relations careers.
